Passionate about native flora, Thays created unique parks. We have imagined the improbable encounters of multiple odors in his enchanting gardens. The smell of green parks and blooming osmanthus.
Carlos Thays was a French-Argentine landscape architect, and a student of French landscape architect Édouard André. Thays worked most extensively in Buenos Aires, and one of his largest undertakings was the Parque Tres de Febrero, a sweeping area of open land covering several square kilometers filled with thousands of trees, flowers, many fountains, and monuments in the Barrio of Palermo.
