Pulperia | Spicy Leather
Collection: Literatura
Pulpería was the name given to a type of establishment that combined the services of general stores and saloons across the different Hispanic-American regions, from Central America to the Southern Cone. Their origin is located in colonial times, but their popularity as a center of cultural life extends until the late 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Food, wine and gin, payadas, truco, political discussions - national identities, especially Argentinian, were shaped in pulperías. This fragrance is an homage to these warm and vivid spaces, shelved as libraries, where words, music, drinks, and spices were mixed up in the middle of the rural night.
