Marina Sersale and Sebastián Alvarez Murena are the creators behind Eau d’Italie, a luxury fragrance brand born out of the famous Le Sirenuse hotel in Positano, Italy. Sersale, part of the family that owns the hotel, was previously a documentary filmmaker, while Alvarez Murena is a journalist and entrepreneur who has lived in Rome for over 30 years.

Le Sirenuse hotel was founded by four brothers of the noble Neapolitan family of Sersale in 1951, and in 2004, to celebrate its over half a century of style, it launched Eau d’Italie, which became the brand name for a collection of exclusive fragrances and body care products. The key to the brand's success lies in its use of high-quality ingredients and a truly Italian ingredient: la passione, or the passion that drives excellence in art, fashion, and design. Eau d’Italie works with renowned "noses" in the industry to create contemporary, original, and inspiring fragrances and body care products.
